Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
We are making some gluten free changes at home but we can’t do it without finding a way to still keep the kids happy with their treats. Today we are testing out Immaculate Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.
We always make two boxes of just about anything – for two boxes we add 2 sticks of butter, 2 teaspoons of gluten free vanilla and 2 eggs.
The mixture doesn’t pack together like normal chocolate chip cookie dough – it is a little crumbly feeling. I had to ball up the dough in my hands and place it/press it onto the cookie sheet. You will need to either grease the pan thoroughly or use silicone baking sheets (such as this sheet by Homemade Perfect).
Bake for approximately 12-14 minutes on 350 degrees or until done.
Time for the taste test! Okay so these are a keeper! They taste almost exactly like regular chocolate chip cookies – a little less sweet. The only other difference is that they are a little fragile and can crumble. But these are seriously awesome and we will definitely buy this mix again.
